Elizabethan inspired garden

Kenilworth Castle’s Elizabethan Garden was used to inform the design of this Grade II* Listed property and garden, dating from Elizabeth I’s reign. The borrowed landscape determines an asymmetric axis along the otherwise rectilinear design, focussing the eye on the landscape beyond.

A calm array of natural, often reused materials, complemented by specimen trees, topiary, geometric hedges and grasses and perennials in a pared back palette. This is a calm, reflective garden, with intimate spaces, pausing points and a cascade leading to a centrally located pool, reflecting the sky.
